Infrared Sauna

Infrared Sauna

Healing Arts Studio is home to a Clearlight full-spectrum infrared sauna. Infrared saunas use infrared wavelengths to heat the body, penetrating deep within your muscles and tissue. Unlike traditional saunas, infrared saunas heat your body directly, rather than the air around you, resulting in a more comfortable sauna environment. The infrared waves also allow your body to reach a higher heat than a steam sauna, which further promotes the sauna’s benefits including:

  • Improving Sleep
  • Detoxification
  • Relieving Muscle Pain
  • Stress & Fatigue Reduction
  • Boost the Immune system
  • Improving Skin
  • Easing Joint Pain & Stiffness
  • Increasing Metabolism
  • Reducing the Appearance of Cellulite
  • Encourage Weight Loss
  • Relaxation

Sit back and relax while the sauna gets your body warm and working.

In Sauna Features

What does full-spectrum mean?

Our full spectrum Clearlight infrared sauna uses a combination of near, mid and far infrared wavelengths and is one of the best on the market.

Near-infrared is the shortest of the wavelengths, absorbed just below the surface of the skin. These rays increase sweat, promoting healing and revitalisation.

Mid-infrared uses slightly longer wavelengths, penetrating deeper into the soft tissue of the body. These rays increase our circulation, carrying and releasing oxygen throughout the body and assisting the healing of injury.

Far-infrared is the longest wavelength, penetrating fat cells in the body. This promotes vasodilation, a process which causes the cells to vibrate, allowing the removal of toxins from the body and stimulating our body’s metabolism which can result in weight loss. Many infrared saunas only utilise these far-infrared wavelengths, not incorporating near or mid wavelengths.

Session Information

Session Times

We currently offer 30 and 45 minute sessions in the infrared sauna.

Which is right for you? It’s all about preference.

Our standard session is 45 minutes with most new clients find this the perfect amount of time to experience and be introduced to the infrared sauna. If you find the 45 minute session too long or are needing a quicker session to fit into your busy day, try the 30 minute session. Both session times allow you to experience the benefits the sauna has to offer.

Sauna Capacity

Bring a friend!

The sauna comfortably fits two, so feel free to bring a friend to your session. For online bookings, only one of the duo has to book and we can organise the details once you’re both here.
